About me

Hi! I'm Claire, and I'm a designer.

This is probably due to the fact that my father is an illustrator and my mother is a graphic designer. They raised me on computers and art in a large Craftsman in a small Northern California farming town. I've been using Macs since I was 6 years old, and made my first website at age 12. I spent my childhood following web technologies and designing flyers and album covers for friends' bands. I eventually got my degree in graphic design, and although I love print design, I've chosen to pursue web design and development. The internet fascinates me and I want to participate in its future. I've recently moved to Los Angeles and find myself thriving on the culture and inspiration that permeates my days.

I'm a long time vegetarian. I have an insane orange cat named Toki. I like to keep up with the latest gadgets and video games. I love music; mostly classic rock, metal, punk rock, and oldies, and sometimes I play musical instruments. I like to read sci-fi paperbacks from the 1960s. I watch cartoons and offensive comedies. My favorite typefaces are Futura and Clarendon. I love traveling and should probably practice my French more.
